How to request a day off gained from working a Bank Holiday
When you work on a Bank Holiday, you get to enjoy a day off, to be taken in the next 2 months. Please follow the below steps in order to request a day off.
- Go to HiBob > My time off
- Click 'Request time off'
- In the new window called Submit request,
- Under What kind of request, choose Time off in lieu
- Choose your desired dates
- In the Note field, please add the corresponding bank holiday that you worked.
Important
A bank holiday day off must be taken within 2 months of the holiday, subject to business approval.
If you try to take it within that period but can’t for justified reasons (such as no availability or being inside summer peak), you won’t lose the day.
